I cannot believe it's been over 10 years since I last updated this site!
It turns out that the death of my good friend Mark effected me much more than I realised. I lost my love of riding and completely fell out with my beloved R1, which I ended up selling to buy a campervan, but that's a story for another day.
Since the last update, Daz, Nig and I toured Europe again - which is now written up here, and Nig and I toured Scotland, the write up will be coming soon.
Personally it has been a turbulent time, which is no subject for this site, but I am now happily married. My wife Ally and I did a mini tour of Scotland which was excellent - again the write up will be coming soon.
Bike wise, as mentioned above, I sold my R1 which I have regretted since. I sold my GPZ900R and I also sold my Triumph Sprint ST which I most definitely have not regretted, I've never been so please to see a bike go. I bought a Kawasaki ER6F for commuting and ended up liking it a whole lot more than I expected. I have also bought a Kawasaki Z800 which is fantastic.
