2004 - Kos
I have wanted to tour Europe on a motorcycle for years, but I’ve never managed to get the motivation or had the facilities to do so.
Early in 2003, while in the pub, I was telling Daz about my desire to tour Europe and he said he would like to as well. My girlfriend’s parents had recently moved to Kos in Greece so this gave us a destination.
We both needed new motorcycles as Daz didn’t have one at that time and I had a Kawasaki ZX7R which is not the best touring bike. My dad was selling an old XJ900 which I thought would be ideal, and Daz found his dream Suzuki Bandit 1200. So we had the destination and the transport, and we started planning from there.
