Fair Weather Bikers

For all of our pervious tours I'd done most of the planning and leading. for this one I decided to take a back seat and let somebody else sort it out - so my brother Nig decided to have a go.

Nig did a pretty good job of sorting out most of the route coming up with the idea of stopping at the lakes first, then heading up far north on the west and returning down the middle and he was very suprised at how much work and effort you have to put into planning a tour! I put the finishing touches to the route and booked all the accommodation.

Nig also did a brilliant job of leading for the entire tour - again he was suprised at how different leading is to following and how much extra thought is required.

This was a brilliant tour that showed us you do not need good weather to enjoy yourself!
