Dee's Honda VFR800 VTEC

I've loved this bike since I bough it. It's comfortable, handles lots of luggage now I've fitted the Givi Wingrack, and is sporty enough to be very entertaining on twisty roads. It was perfect for last year's Europe tour, so I'm looking forward to riding it in the Pyrenees again.

Uneducated people moan about the VTEC and linked brakes. I personally like the VTEC, it provides a genuine dual-purpose bike, good torquey engine at low revs, and very sporty and revvy at high revs. The linked brakes seem to improve stopping in in the wet, but honestly I only very occasionally notice any difference at all.

Daz's Kawasaki ZRX1200

Daz bought this lovely bike this year to replace his unique Suzuki Bandit.

This bike has plenty of grunt, handles very well, and also looks fantastic.

Daz has fitted a hard luggage rack, which was suprisingly hard to find and quite expensive, but it should be worth it as having hard luggage is a major plus when touring.
