Day 13 - Thursday 7th August
We woke to a much nicer day, it was sunny and warm!
Unfortunately Daz still wasn't feeling great, so Nig and I decided to head out on the bikes. We had a look on the map and there were a lot of very interesting looking roads so we planned a route and set-off.
It wasn't very long at all before we were on some lovely roads and really nice scenary. We found a nice cafe and had some breakfast before exploring more. I was very surprised by Luxembourg, it's a beautiful country.
When we returned to the campsite, Daz was feeling a little better and felt he needed some fresh air. Nearby was a momument on top of a big hill so we climbed that. The views were very good and Daz looked a lot better by the time we'd got up and down it.
We called at the cafe Nig and I had gone to the day before and had some lunch. It was very nice, the only problem being there were loads of absolutely massive wasps. Somebody near us killed on and that must have triggered the rest as they swarmed that table!
Later that evening we had a meal at the site where there was a marching band for some reason!
All in all it turned into a lovely day, the weather was good, Nig and I had a great ride, we all had a nice walk.
